St. Francis’ Feast Weekend (Oct. 3rd & 4th).
Special Hours.
For this year’s St. Francis feast (Oct. 4th) the Church will allow
short visits (2-3 minutes when people are waiting) for pilgrims to pray and light candles but access will be limited as follows:
• The Mausoleum will be open for individuals, couples or small groups-
one group or person at a time, to visit. Safe social distance must be maintained to ensure the safety of all visitors.
• The Church will also be open to no more than 10 people at a time. Only the entrance (Narthex) to the Church is open for
short prayers/visits but the main body of the Church will remain closed since ventilation is poor.
• The Saint Francis statue will be displayed in the interior plaza for short visits. The number of visitors to the inner plaza will be monitored and limited.
No one will be allowed to touch the statue due to health concerns.
All visitors must wear face masks and observe proper social distancing. Please be respectful and follow the directions of volunteers on site.
The hours are as follows:
Saturday October 3rd open
8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday October 4th open
