RENWEB (ParentsWeb) Academic Program
To better assist parents/guardians with academic monitoring, assignments and grades may be checked through RenWeb, Passwords to access RenWeb may be obtained through the main office. Report cards are issued every nine (9) weeks. Consult the school calendar for dates. Progress reports may be obtained from RenWeb on a weekly basis.
Our National School Lunch Program prohibits sugary treats to be given at school. As a parent/guardian planning to provide a non-sugary treat to your child’s class please
• Notify the teacher at least 48 hours prior to celebration. If the teacher has not been notified, the treats will not be accepted.
• Birthday celebrations are only allowed at the end of the day, right before dismissal
• We cannot allow cupcakes, cake, candy, soda, or any other sugary treat.
Cafeteria Menu
Cafeteria San Xavier Mission School offers breakfast from 7:30- 7:55 a.m. Lunch is offered from 11:30-12:30 p.m. All students’ grades K-8 must eat lunch unless otherwise indicated by a doctor’s order.
SXMS provides a school bus service. Arrangements are to be made at the beginning of the school year or when a change in residence occurs in the main office. Bus service is not provided for students living outside the regular busing area. Students living near the school may walk or ride bikes.
To ensure the safety of all, parents/guardians are to follow traffic rules:

Parking
Parking is located in front of the Mission. When picking up please park and come get your child. Be cautious at drop off and pick up.
Parents/guardians arriving before 3:00 p.m. must park and walk to pick up areas using designated crosswalks.
School Uniforms / Dress Code
Uniforms are to be kept in good repair. Since the regulations are not all inclusive, they presuppose goodwill and good judgment on the part of the students and parents/guardians. No caps on campus.
Note: For all grades: No open-toed shoes, skinny or torn jeans/slacks, no Uniform Violations will result in a UNIFORM REFERRAL. Students will wait in the office until uniform is brought from home.
Girls
K-2: Navy blue or khaki jumper, skirts, navy or khaki shorts/pants with white, hunter green, purple or navy polo shirt.
3-8: Navy blue or khaki skirts or navy or khaki shorts/pants with white, hunter green, purple, or navy polo shirt.
Boys
K-2: Navy or khaki pants/navy or khaki shorts, (must be worn at the waist), with white, hunter green, purple, or navy polo shirt.
3-8: Navy or khaki slacks/navy or khaki shorts, (must be worn at the waist), with white, hunter green, purple, or navy polo shirt.
Spirit Shirt
Must have San Xavier Mission School or SXMS Roadrunners written on them.
Cold weather options
Plain navy blue, gray, purple or black sweater or sweatshirts.
Sweatpants and sweatbands are not acceptable.
Mass Dress Code
Students have the option to wear traditional clothing. All students who do not wear traditional clothing must be in a white or navy polo/collared shirt. Pants/skirts/jumpers must be khaki, black, blue, navy blue.
PAC Community Building Hours 2020-20201
Parents/Guardians are a valuable resource to our school. Service hours are a vital part of school life. They help build community and parent involvement; two cornerstones of Catholic education. Your participation also demonstrates to your child how important his/her education is.
Each family at San Xavier Mission Catholic School is responsible for
30 hoursof community building during the school year; 15 hours per semester. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to record and notify the school office when any or all
required community building hours are completed.
Community Building
Is time a family member spends at school or school events that promote San Xavier Mission School.
Time can be purchased at $10.00 an hour. If a family cannot physically come to the school or school functions.
Can include the donation of items to support fundraising activities. A receipt must be attached to the volunteer page to be considered part of ‘community building time’.
Donations of items should not be the only way a family fulfills the community building time requirement.
The Community Building Notebook is available in the office for parents signing in/out during an event.
