The leadership at Mission San Xavier del Bac relies on dedicated committees and councils that support the Mission’s spiritual, cultural, and operational needs. Together, these groups work to uphold the mission’s historical legacy and serve its parishioners and visitors alike. Here are the key teams contributing to our Mission’s vibrant community:
Each year, dedicated Feast Committees organize events to celebrate our traditional feasts, bringing together parishioners and the broader community in meaningful celebrations of faith and heritage.
Named in honor of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the Kateri Circle fosters fellowship and spiritual growth, particularly within our Native American parish community, building strong ties between faith and cultural traditions.
As part of the Pima West Vicariate, our Pastor collaborates with the wider regional Catholic community, helping guide the mission’s role and service within the broader church network.
The Faith Formation Commission oversees religious education for all ages, ensuring that our programs support spiritual growth and deepen understanding of the Catholic faith.
Responsible for the financial stewardship of the Mission, the Finance Council works closely with leadership to manage resources responsibly, supporting both day-to-day operations and future preservation projects.
The Corporation Board provides oversight and governance to protect the Mission’s interests, supporting its mission to preserve this historic landmark for generations to come.
Each group is integral to fulfilling the Mission’s spiritual and operational goals, ensuring the ongoing vitality of our cherished landmark.
